Mad River Brewery has built its brand on exceptional craftsmanship coupled with eco-conscious practices and production methods and has gained recent recognition in their effort to make change in professional sports. “It’s a twofold message about revering women while contributing towards Indigenous visibility as a women-led tribally owned business.” “The message behind Maize Goddess is a refreshing contrast to typical objectification and marketing that surrounds women in the craft beer world,” added Jessica Carenco, Mad River Brewery Marketing Director. It’s a refreshing ale that appeals not only to craft beer enthusiasts but also those who appreciate socially conscious brands. Maize Goddess celebrates Indigenous cultures around the world while paying tribute to women’s strength, power, and resilience as leaders and life-givers. “Together we can accomplish anything, and it is from that direction we will move forward! In conclusion, the beers were incredible and the average food was overpriced. We don't know if it was his mistake or was Jerry just trying to test our honesty. He left us the bill with someone else's credit card. The best moment was when we asked for the bill. Jerry finally came by at the end of our lunch to ask if we wanted a refill on the beers rather than ask when we had finished them after our appetizer. Maybe I should have ordered fish and chips. Then again trips to New York deli's have spoiled me. They made the mistake of not adding a wedge of dill pickle. I made the mistake of ordering the Reuben sandwich which was skimpy on the corned beef. ![]() My wife ordered a very flavorful meatloaf dish with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. Unfortunately Jerry forgot the appetizer dishes. We began with a very tasty crab and artichoke dip and some beers. He was very pleasant and spunky although a bit forgetful. This was our first visit to Rockbottom Brewery.
